It was produced by the Children's Theatre Company of Minneapolis. The show was later moved to Broadway, where it was nominated for a Tony award in 2003. The show, based on the popular Arnold Lobel books, is a collaboration of small episodes in Frog and Toad's year. The small scenes based on the books are not connected, but consist all of the same lovable characters.
